8th Grade 3rd Grade Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Vallejo, California

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Experience supporting students in an academic setting, ideally across multiple grade levels (1st through 12th)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust approach based on student needs
• Experience working 1:1 with students, especially in a special education or behavioral setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral support and reinforcement under the guidance of a supervising BCBA or licensed professional
• Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Assist with developing and implementing strategies that promote positive behavioral change
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support educational and behavioral goals
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for students to thrive academically and socially
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
