This position collaborates with other team members to provide individualized care for clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work.
- Facilitates and assists in recovery-based activities in individual and group settings
- Attends and participates in team meetings.
- Reports and documents clients progress in electronic medical record.
- Willingness to attend and participate in training, as assigned.
- Provides clients with a safe environment of care and assists with ADLs as needed.
- Collects information related to clients through observation and interviews.
- Engages with clients to encourage a welcoming and safe environment.
- Participates in de-escalation and crisis management as needed
- Other duties, as assigned.
- High School Equivalency; experience with mental health preferred.
- Trauma-informed and recovery oriented
- Supports there being many pathways to recovery.
- Willingness to partner with clients regardless of stage of change, seeking to demonstrate compassion and working to guide and evoke change.
- Knowledge of social determinants of health and recovery capital.
- Skills in advocacy, organization, and communication.
- Ability to effectively encourage interpersonal effectiveness and conflict management.
