As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide compassionate care and expert treatment to individuals served at our site in collaboration with our clinical leadership and psychiatrists. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based treatment, and support individuals served through their recovery journey. What You'll Do Complete initial, annual, and comprehensive psychiatric assessments including interviews, mental status exams, and treatment planning Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans alongside the multidisciplinary team Provide treatment such as prescribing psychotropic medications (when applicable) and integrating additional therapeutic modalities Deliver ongoing care through daily rounds, patient education, lab monitoring, and progress evaluation Document all care in compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, state statutes, and facility policies Respond to psychiatric crises and provide immediate intervention in urgent or emergency situations What We're Looking For Education Master's degree from a Nurse Practitioner program at an accredited university (required) Clinical rotations applicable to training program (required) Experience Direct experience providing psychiatric services (required) Licenses/Certifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice (required) Current DEA License (required) Any client-mandated certifications and/or training (required) Why Join Us?
