Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to an exciting contract role serving students across multiple school sites in the upcoming academic year. This is a newly created discipline for the district, making it a unique opportunity to influence and shape the school's behavioral support practices from the ground up. You'll work collaboratively with educators and staff, impacting both general and special education classrooms. Key Qualifications: BCBA certification required. Experience in educational or school-based settings is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to implementing behavioral interventions. Comfortable providing training, support, and consultation to teachers and staff. Must be able to submit a redacted FBA sample and provide professional references at the time of application. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct behavioral services to students across three school sites within the district. Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement effective behavior plans, and monitor student progress. Observe students within various settings, including emotional support classrooms, to guide intervention strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school psychologists, general, and special education teachers. Be an onsite resource for staff, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment through proactive behavior supports. Position Details: Full-time, onsite contract position (37-40 hours per week). Work across all grade levels at three diverse campuses within the district.
