Provide support services such as mentoring, emotional support, life skills training, and personal care to clients. Complete timely and accurate documentation as per Health System/affiliate policy. Interact with clients in a positive and supporting manner. Coordinate with the appropriate clinical staff to facilitate the treatment plan outlined for the client. Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public. General Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned. People Management Responsibilities: Does this position have people management responsibilities?: Yes No Yes indicates that this position entails overseeing and guiding team members, encompassing employment decisions and/or suggestions, as well as conducting formal performance assessments. "No" indicates that this position does not involve managing team members. Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age and at least three years older than the youth. Required License/Certifications/Registrations Current BLS/CPR card from approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first (based on location licensing requirements). Kansas Driver's License (if position requires driving) Auto Insurance equal to or greater than the Kansas Insurance requirements (if position requires driving) Successfully pass KBI, DCF, child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and routine motor-vehicle screens. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education and Experience Two years of experience working with adults or children in a health-related field. Experience working in a KDHE facility. Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations none Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational skills Basic computer skills Physical Requirements: With or without accommodation. Light Work: Occasionally exerting up to 25 lbs - frequently exerting up to 10 lbs. 11-25% of the day may be standing or walking.
