Department: Psychology Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Exempt

What You’ll Do

As a Psychologist or Psychologist Resident, you will provide direct psychological assessment services for children and adolescents across a range of treatment settings, including:

  • Inpatient and subacute programs
  • Residential treatment
  • Day treatment and partial hospitalization
  • Intensive outpatient programs
  • School-based outpatient services

You’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations addressing referral questions such as:

  • Cognitive and developmental functioning
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Diagnostic clarification
  • Personality assessment
  • Forensic and competency evaluations

You’ll also collaborate closely with families, multidisciplinary treatment teams, and community providers to deliver practical, meaningful recommendations that support client success.

The Ideal Candidate

You are:
Passionate about serving children, adolescents, and families Skilled in psychological testing and assessment Trauma-informed and culturally responsive Collaborative, curious, and growth-oriented Able to communicate assessment results clearly and compassionately Committed to ethical, evidence-based practice

Bonus points if you have an interest in forensic evaluations with youth. We provide supervision and support toward forensic certification — including a salary increase upon certification.

Qualifications Education
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited Clinical or Counseling Psychology program
  • Emphasis in child/adolescent assessment and treatment preferred
Licensure
  • Licensed Psychologist in Oregon OR
  • Eligible for Psychologist Residency under Oregon Board of Psychology rules
Experience
  • Experience in psychological assessment/testing with children and adolescents
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams preferred
Supervisory Opportunities
