Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

General Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
• Supervise school behaviorists and instructional assistants in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Model and supervise school behaviorists and instructional assistants in behavioral data collection, interpretation, and summarization
• Adjust Behavior Intervention Plans for students in consultation with the school team
• Provide direct intervention and social/emotional support to students
• Provide support and coaching to teachers and staff on positive behavioral reinforcement strategies in the classroom
• Design district-wide practices that support students' development of pragmatic communication, pro-social behavior, and problem-solving/conflict resolution skills in consultation with building principals
• Participate in building-based Child Study Team meetings
• Participate in building-based IEP meetings
• Lead professional development sessions related to trauma-informed instructional practices and classroom behavioral de-escalation techniques

Position Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA certification
• Bachelor's degree, preferred, or comparable years of relevant work experience
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students with emotional, developmental, and learning disabilities, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders, preferred
• Experience using consultant/interventionist models for behavior management, preferred
• Familiarity with trauma-informed practices, preferred
• Certified in physical restraint or willing to be certified, required

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
