Mental Health Technician I

Summary:

Provides direct patient care to psychiatric patients under the direct supervisor of a Registered Nurse.

Required Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

Minimum Qualifications: You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways:

6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program Completion of a Baycare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program--that includes a program with a minimum of 40 hours hands-on patient care experience outside of a lab setting Education : Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of Completion Facility:

Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Shift: Shift 3

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
