If you are looking for an opportunity where you can positively impact the course of someone's life, this opportunity is for you!This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (NOT contract).Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment teams and work collaboratively with other disciplines in planning for the treatment of their patientsAssess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and collaborate with the referral and intake department.Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients and perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing careProvide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their careComplete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframesMaintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:Two years of psychiatric inpatient clinical experience requiredMust be licensed as a PMHNPMust be licensed as an NP in West Virginia or show proof of applicationDEA requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red CrossCompensation and Schedule:Annual salary starts around $120K but can be considerably more based on years of experienceMonday - Friday schedule (8A - 5P) with some (paid) call
