Were seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Interventionists to support students across K12 school campuses in the Beverly Hills, CA area. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students with behavioral needs while working as part of a supportive school-based team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students with mild to severe behavioral challenges.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of BCBAs and other school staff.
- Use ABA-aligned strategies and de-escalation techniques to help students manage behavior and stay engaged in learning.
- Assist in documenting behavior data, tracking progress, and reporting observations to the broader IEP/behavioral support team.
- Support students with transitions, routines, and redirection as needed throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, specialists, and parents to ensure cohesive care and consistency in behavioral supports.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when responding to challenging situations.
- Support with toileting, mobility, or other ADLs as needed, depending on student assignment.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs (preferred in a school setting).
- Understanding of ABA principles, behavior management, and data collection.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.
- Must be able to pass background clearance.
- Ability to assist with physical support needs, including toileting, as necessary.
