Position: Teacher ~ Program Specialist, BCBA
Employment Status: Regular/Full Time ~ 205 days per year

Reports to: Building Principal/Director of Special Education
Description:
To support students with behavioral needs across the district. The BCBA will collaborate with school teams to develop and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions that support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification
- Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Valid or eligible for appropriate Ohio licensure
- Knowledge of IDEA and Ohio Operating Standards
- Experience in school settings preferred
Essential Functions:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and support ETR processes
- Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with staff and provide consultation on behavior supports
- Provide staff training and support implementation of interventions
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) as needed
- Attend expulsion hearings and disciplinary meetings, as needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve professional competence by attending professional seminars, workshops, in-services, etc. to keep current on relevant issues
- Support school, enforce school rules and policies and work collaboratively with team members
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee
