Intake Therapist working with Adults
Overview
Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is the largest, private, not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance abuse, housing, residential, employment and educational services.
We are currently hiring for an Intake Therapist to serve our adult clients as part of an interdisciplinary team providing recovery-oriented services to persons with serious mental illnesses. As the first point of clinical contact, you will play a critical role in shaping the patient experience. You will conduct initial clinical assessments and ensure a seamless transition into our services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessments: Conduct initial assessments for new clients.
Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Clinical Acumen: Strong understanding of diagnostic criteria and treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care).
Good time management: to ensure timely completion of clinical notes.
Education:
Required - Bachelors Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field required.
Preferred - Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field.

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm
