Job Summary

Rushford Center (The Ridge Recovery Center) is seeking a dediced and compassione Registered Nurse who desires a rewarding career making a difference in the lives of individuals living with substance use disorders. The Ridge Recovery Center is a new ste-of-the-art substance use disorder trement facility in Windham, CT. The Ridge Recovery Center offers personalized phs to recovery in a serene and tranquil setting. The Registered Nurse will work with and assist other professional, clinical, and medical staff in providing day-to-day direct care to individuals with substance use disorders. Some of the duties and responsibilities for this position include: assessing clients conditions, administering medicions, managing withdrawal symptoms, providing direct nursing care and educion to clients in regard to their health, wellness and recovery. Our ideal candide will possess strong therapeutic interpersonal skills to encourage and motive individuals to work towards their trement goals.

• Valid CT RN license.
• Minimum of Associe's degree in nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• CPR & AED certified within six months of employment.
• Accredited certificion in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiric/Mental Health Nursing (or is actively pursuing credentialing) is preferred.
• Minimum of one years' nursing experience in Psychiric or Substance Abuse Trement preferred.
• Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or other reled field is desirable for newly gradued nurses.
