Position Summary

Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective advanced practice care for pients, families, and others in the geriric populion. Participes in the medical management of pients, to achieve or maintain optimal health stus, manage disease and reduce risk of illness. Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families and groups in the geriric populion. Assumes responsibility for self-improvement by identifying, communicion, and seeking resources or instruction to meet self-learning needed. Reports to Director of Geriric Psychiry.

Some highlights of this opportunity include:

* The outpient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner practices with a team of providers across multiple levels of care (ie Inpient, IOP, ED, outpient, community) providing psychiric trement including: psychiric evaluions; diagnosis; prescribing; psychotherapy; coordinion of care, group therapy, and pient educion

* A teaching and research environment with supportive tending physicians

* Frequent collaborion with other medical and mental health specialties

* Monday Friday, 1 st shift
