The district is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services across two elementary school campuses. The School Psychologist will support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs through assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results.
- Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions.
- Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and problem-solving teams.
- Provide crisis response and risk assessments as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in elementary school settings preferred.
