High School Elementary School Psychologist in Warren, MI

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Completion of an accredited program in School Psychology (EdS, MA, or PhD)
• Prior experience working with elementary and/or high school students preferred
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, interpreting data, and developing intervention plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations impacting special education and psychological services

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for IEP and eligibility meetings
• Support the development and implementation of intervention strategies tailored to individual students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to provide guidance and resources
• Deliver counseling services for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide strategies to promote positive learning environments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise in assessments and best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with district and legal requirements
