A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide support in a kindergarten special day class setting. This full-time, school-year position offers 30-32 hours per week and is an excellent fit for compassionate professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young students with diverse learning needs.

Within this role, you will work directly with a kindergarten student, implementing individualized behavioral interventions and collaborating with educators and related service providers. The focus is on fostering student growth in a supportive, structured environment.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is required.
  • School-based experienceparticularly in special day class or early childhood settingsis strongly preferred.
  • Candidates who reside locally are prioritized; this is not a travel assignment.
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and data collection methods is an asset.
  • Must be comfortable completing both district and agency onboarding, including fingerprinting processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow through with BCBA-supervised plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavioral interventions as directed by supervising BCBA.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with classroom staff and family members to support student success.
  • Help facilitate social, academic, and behavioral development within the classroom setting.
  • Adapt strategies to best support each students growth and well-being.
