Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for the state
• Previous experience providing psychological services in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of student assessment tools, intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
• Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaborative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal evaluations and psychological assessments to support special education eligibility and individualized education program (IEP) development
• Deliver counseling and intervention services to students to support their academic, social, and emotional development
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide expertise on behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation and monitoring of behavioral and academic interventions
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Offer professional development to staff in areas related to mental health and student well-being
