Make an impact by supporting student development and learning as a dedicated school psychologist on a contract basis. In this role, youll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to address students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Youll play a key role in fostering inclusive and positive educational experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or specialist-level degree in school psychology from an accredited program
- Active state certification or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Experience completing psycho-educational assessments and interpreting data
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and collaboration
- Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law, and behavior intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert input on student needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to design interventions and support student success
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and prevention services as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
