Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

About the Opportunity
Cognizant Behavioral Health Services is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient practice in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a provider with at least three years of experience who values a collaborative environment, consistent workflow, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical team members to coordinate care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
Provide patient education and support throughout treatment

Qualifications
PMHNP or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatry
Active or eligible Pennsylvania license
Active DEA license or ability to obtain
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Schedule
Full-time outpatient schedule
Consistent clinic hours with no inpatient responsibilities
