Intercultural Family Services, Inc. (Intercultural) is an independent non-profit 501 (c)(3) human services agency founded in 1979. Since this time we have been committed to serving the needs of children and families in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Our Behavioral Health Centers (2 Locations: 4254 Chestnut Street and 2317 South 23rd Street) focus on helping individuals and families achieve social and emotional stability, and become productive members of their communities.
IBHC holds a current Certificate of Compliance from the PA Department of Public Welfare’s Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, is credentialed by the City of Philadelphia’s Community Behavioral Health (CBH) and Magellan Behavioral Health for services in Delaware County.
