BTST was founded in 2008 in Baltimore City. The agency began as a provider of Mentoring services with Maryland Choices (CME for Baltimore), working with some of the most at risk youth in the inner city of Baltimore. BTST was able to play an intricate part in assisting their clients with making essential life changes leading to a reduction in re offenses and arrest. BTST then increased its service area to provide their Mentoring Program in Montgomery County. From there BTST continued to expand and began to provide In School One on One and Transportation Aide services for Non Public Level 5 schools in Baltimore City, Howard and Prince Georges Counties. In 2012 BTST became a Licensed Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program provider. Since founding, BTST has provided quality and evidence based services to over 600 individuals within 6 counties.
