Job Description
Responsibilities include assessing client needs, formulating treatment goals, and delivering high-quality mental health therapy interventions using a variety of treatment modalities under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. People's Place is a one-of-a-kind, statewide, human services organization that, in addition to providing outpatient mental health services, also provides services such as transitional and homeless housing, veterans outreach services, court diversion and mediation services, and domestic violence counseling and education services. Our outpatient practice has proudly provided mental health services to Delawareans for over 50 years. We have a multi-disciplinary practice, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed mental health counselors. The agency employs highly skilled clerical and administrative assistants who are responsible for credentialing, insurance authorizations, intake scheduling, payment collection, and insurance billing, allowing providers to focus on client care and clinical practice.
