Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking Lead Behavioral Health Specialists to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of children in DHS custody at federal processing centers in Big Bend, TX (Marfa).
In this leadership role, you will oversee behavioral health service delivery, guide clinical staff, and serve as a key liaison between operational leadership and care teams. This role is essential to ensuring consistent, trauma-informed care in high-stakes environments.
What You'll Do
As a Lead Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide clinical oversight and operational leadership to a team of Child Well-Being Specialists. You will work closely with CBP leadership, internal staff, and partner agencies to resolve complex cases and support continuous program improvement.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of Child Well-Being Specialists across shifts
Serve as the primary behavioral health liaison for CBP leadership and DHS headquarters
Manage escalated cases and provide decision support for child well-being concerns
Coordinate team coverage, surge staffing, and shift transitions as needed
Facilitate communication and care coordination with external agencies and partners
Oversee performance reviews, coaching, and training initiatives
Support policy development and lead efforts to improve clinical operations
Schedule & Shift Details
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role that includes cross-shift coordination and availability:
Daily shift structure: 8 hours onsite + 4 hours on-call (as needed)
Includes weekend, holiday, and after-hours responsibilities on a rotating basis
Must be able to return onsite during on-call periods when needed
Requirements
Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field
Active, unrestricted license as one of the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Psychologist (LP)
At least 5 years of post-licensure experience in:
Child development
Trauma-informed care
Clinical evaluations
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare or social services
Strong communication and team management skills
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred (minimum ILR 3/5 or equivalent)
Ability to adapt to evolving needs in a high-intensity, mission-critical setting
