Lead Clinical Therapist - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT - Kirkland, WA
Peninsula Psychological Center, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Lead Clinical Therapist to join our team in Kirkland, WA. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, youll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
As a Lead Clinical Therapist,
This position is based on-site at our Kirkland office having in-person sessions. Flexibility for telehealth sessions at home may be considered. You will have the flexibility to create your schedule provided client needs are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Support colleagues as a subject matter expert, providing explanations & guidance to others on the most complex/critical issues Serve as a leader among the clinical team, providing recommendations for improvement and mentoring other clinicians We are committed to your well-being and growth, offering a comprehensive package of perks and benefits with varying eligibility based on role, including:

Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field Clear, active and unrestricted license ([LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC]) in the state of Washington 2+ years of professional experience post masters degree providing behavioral health services Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Supervisor - Board approval to supervise Mental Health Practitioners and Clinical Trainees 1+ years of supervisory experience Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs) Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness Explore opportunities at Optum Behavioral Care.
