Job Description
Pariva Health is looking for a Psychology Intern or Practicum Student to join our team. The intern/student will work under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist providing assessment and writing reports for children ages 16 months to 12 years old. Assessments focus on developmental delays (including Autism spectrum disorder diagnosis), executive functioning concerns, and behavioral and emotional problems. This is a primarily telehealth position (2-3 days per week require travel to do in-person assessments).
Our model is 100% remote, though we do have some partnerships with other providers to provide on-site rapid assessments 2 to 3 times per week.
Qualifications:
Enrolled full time in a doctorate program for Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
Interest in diagnostic assessment.
Ability to engage in telehealth sessions (laptop, internet access, etc).
Willingness to learn and openness to supervision process.
Good writing skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct intake appointments to gather background information, reason for referral, and make a plan for testing.
Attend assessment appointments.
Score assessment measures administered to clients.
Write diagnostic evaluation reports.
At least 20 hours of work per week expected, however hours/days may be flexible and agreed upon with your supervisor.
