At CG Motorsports, we provide an extensive range of services for BMW and MINI owners in Richmond and beyond. From essential oil changes and precise alignments to advanced performance tuning, turbocharger installations, and brake upgrades, our skilled technicians handle it all. As BMW-certified technicians, we ensure top-notch service and accurate diagnostics for your beloved vehicles.

Summary of Position: Looking for a technician or apprentice to join our service team. The technician should be passionate about working with European brands and working with the service team to continue delivering personalized service. This opportunity is also open to currently working apprentice. The apprenticeship program is a learning on the job experience program, where we will provide you with guided and independent learning opportunities based on your level of learning and comfort.

Duties and Responsibilities: *note this is a brief description and will be based on experience level
Maintain a clean and organized working area, including the proper maintenance and storage of tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and proactively contribute to a safe working environment.
Shop cleaning, car washing, general tidiness.
Help on service based on experience level.
Stay up to date on training offered.
Maintain required certificates.
Perform automotive repair and maintenance tasks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
Mentor junior technicians and apprentices (based on experience level).
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
Valid drivers license
Red Seal or equivalent.
Apprentice registered in skill trades levels 1-4.
Able to perform basic welding.
Able to perform alignments and air conditioning services.
Your own tools, toolbox not needed.

Job Specifications:
3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar position; European brand experience is preferred. (NA for apprentices)
Ability to collaborate with other service technicians and communicate effectively with the service advisors.
Ability to document services provided clearly via web-based service.

Work Environment: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm once training is completed. We aim to have four 10-hour shifts a week, with a 30-minute lunch break. Your shifts will be determined based on technician schedules.
Our operations are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Compensation: depending on level of experience.
