Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized mental health and substance use service provider, is seeking a crisis therapist to be part of a co-responder mobile crisis team with area first responders in Union County.

Job Duties for a Mobile Crisis Therapist Co-Responder:
- Co-respond with law enforcement or other first responders to behavioral health crises
- Triage, de-escalation, assessment, safety plan and link persons to behavioral health services
- Coordinate transportation for crisis stabilization
- Provide follow up for individuals who have experienced a mental health emergency at an emergency department
- Coordinate and collaborate with community resources and stakeholders
- Outcome reporting

- Community engagement and education
Minimum Qualifications for a Mobile Crisis Therapist:
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Social Work and Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- A master's degree in Community Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling and licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Willing to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and Ohio Medicaid Provider Number (we will help)
- Excellent Driving Record
- Trauma focused and strength-based philosophy
- Exercises balanced judgment in highly charged situations while remaining calm and consistent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preference given to:
- Willingness to work hours other than 8am-5pm, for example noon to 8pm M-F.
- Master's degree LSW
- Master's degree Independently Licensed staff (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S)
- Experience with community behavioral health crisis services, psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms
