Psychiatric RN Job Details - Lebanon, NH

* Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 - Upper Valley region, offering vibrant community life and outdoor recreation* Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Psychiatric Inpatient Unit (ages 12-17, 6 beds)* Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)* Start Date: September 2, 2025* End Date: November 29, 2025* Contract Duration: 13 weeks* Nursing Shift: 8-hour nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 40 hours per week, every other weekend required* Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,210 - $2,370 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - New Hampshire or compact state* Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing or pediatric nursing experience* IV skills preferred (not required)* CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required prior to start* Ability to work every other weekend* Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Psychiatric RN Responsibilities

* Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and moderate medical complexity* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans* Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform nursing assessments and interventions* Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff in the inpatient unit* Participate in unit activities and contribute to the successful launch of the new pediatric psychiatric program
