Registered Behavior Technician in Harpers Ferry, WV

An opportunity is available for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support self-contained classrooms serving K-12 students with Autism. This contract role extends through the 2025-2026 school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an anticipated end in June 2026.

Location: Harpers Ferry, WV
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, typically 8:20 AM 3:50 PM
Setting: K-12 public school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions and behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Work directly with students diagnosed with Autism in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Collect and record data on student performance and behavior to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other team members to promote student progress.
• Maintain consistent communication with supervising BCBA to ensure fidelity of intervention plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Experience working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum is highly desired.
• Ability to follow detailed behavioral intervention plans and data collection protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary educational setting.
• Flexibility and patience to work effectively with diverse learners in classroom environments.
