Mental Health Therapist

The Elizabeth Layton Center is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient services to the community of Paola, KS. If you thrive in a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive work environment, this is the opportunity you've been looking for!

Qualified candidates will be clinically licensed (LSCSW, LP, LCPC) in the state of Kansas. SUD licensure is preferred. Non-clinically licensed candidates may apply, but priority will be given to those with LPC licensure.

SUMMARY

ELC's Mental Health Therapist will provide assessment and treatment services to adults and children for both mental health and substance abuse clients.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop initial assessments and formulating treatment plans

Conduct a variety of treatment approaches including group, individual, and family therapy

Prepare reports

Maintain appropriate records

Meet direct service expectations

Meet deadlines for daily paperwork and reports

Provide quality documentation

Maintain proper confidentiality

Comply with ELC policies and procedures

To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications to practice outpatient mental health therapy in the state of Kansas. Candidates must also be able to successfully pass all required background checks.
