The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and group counseling , develop treatment plans, and support patients with mental health and emotional challenges . This role requires strong communication, empathy, and clinical expertise to foster mental well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans .
• Conduct mental health assessments and diagnose conditions.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers .
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Assist in crisis intervention and suicide prevention .
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Certification: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
• Skills: Strong communication, crisis management, and therapeutic intervention abilities.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
