They conduct psychological assessments, provide psychotherapy, develop treatment plans, and conduct research on mental and behavioral health conditions. Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, an individual may work in the roles of a Mental Health Counselor or a Social Worker to gain experience in a therapeutic setting.
