Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification is required.
  • Prior experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of functional behavior assessments and development of behavior intervention plans.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with educators, families, and related service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students.
  • Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to assess program effectiveness and recommend modifications as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure goals and strategies are aligned with student needs.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and coaching to educators and families to maintain consistency in behavior supports.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and school-based interventions.
