Key Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
  • Possession of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • In-depth understanding of high school-aged learners and familiarity with applied behavior analysis in school environments
  • Effective communication and team-collaboration skills
  • Ability to work 1 to 2 days per week on site

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention and support plans for high school students
  • Conduct student observations, functional behavior assessments, and data analysis to inform individualized strategies
  • Consult with multidisciplinary staff and participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed
  • Guide and train school personnel on behavior strategies, data documentation, and positive reinforcement
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements for behavioral services
  • Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success and progress monitoring
