As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide essential BCBA services to K-12 students within a school for the blind. Your expertise will support both students and staff, helping create an environment where every individual can thrive.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current BCBA certification and MD BCBA licensure required
- Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 populations highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent collaboration skills for working alongside educators, therapists, and school administrators
- Compassion and adaptability, particularly with students who have unique learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Perform functional behavior assessments for students, using evidence-based strategies
- Provide training, resources, and support to educational staff and families
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
