As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide essential BCBA services to K-12 students within a school for the blind. Your expertise will support both students and staff, helping create an environment where every individual can thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification and MD BCBA licensure required
  • Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 populations highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working alongside educators, therapists, and school administrators
  • Compassion and adaptability, particularly with students who have unique learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Perform functional behavior assessments for students, using evidence-based strategies
  • Provide training, resources, and support to educational staff and families
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
