- MTSS Team Leadership: Serve as a core member of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team, ensuring academic and behavioral data inform one another.
- Family Engagement: Partner with Title I families to provide strategies for supporting both academic and behavioral growth at home.
- Documentation: Maintain strict, accurate records of coaching logs, student behavioral progress, and Title I compliance documentation.
- Middle School Expertise: Deep understanding of early adolescent development, including the unique social-emotional and academic needs of middle schoolers.
- Behavioral Expertise: Proven experience with PBIS frameworks, trauma-informed care, and restorative justice practices.
- Coaching & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building trust and collaborating effectively with school staff and diverse student populations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex behavioral data (e.g., attendance, referral rates, tracking sheets) to drive decision-making.
- Must be able to navigate a fast-paced middle school environment, including classrooms, hallways, and cafeteria.
