Up to $6.00/hr. shift differential rate
MUST be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM)

We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Mental Health Technicians for varied shifts.
Position Summary: : Provides care to patients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment. Assists patients with activities of daily living; attends to patient behavioral problems and aids in crisis intervention, as needed. Works closely with all other clinical staff (Activity therapists, Social Workers, Nurses) To conduct various groups within the patient program. Plays an integral part of assuring that the patient program schedule is conducted as planned by the staff team
Job Duties Include:
- Supervises and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) (hygiene, meals, laundry) as needed.
- Actively supervise patients in all daily activities while documenting patients' behaviors, conditions & progress in a manner prescribed by policy and clinical standards.
- Ensure programing is occurring according to schedule. Take and record vital signs, both manually and with equipment.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient and maintain awareness of patient's individualized plan of care including goals and intervention

Qualifications
Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).
