Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience in elementary and/or middle school settings is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of multi-tiered systems of support, educational assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct student assessments to identify needs and inform educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility presentations
  • Promote positive behavior supports and a safe, inclusive school climate
  • Offer consultation and professional development to staff on topics such as classroom management and mental health
  • Maintain accurate, timely records according to state and federal guidelines
