Desired Qualifications:
- Active AZ Educator Certification
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessment and interpretation
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster supportive relationships across diverse student populations
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to evaluate academic achievement, cognitive abilities, and social-emotional functioning
- Interpret results to inform eligibility for special education services and create targeted interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to promote student growth
- Lead or participate in response-to-intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) processes
- Counsel students individually or in small groups to address behavioral or emotional challenges
- Document evaluations, service notes, and recommendations in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Remain onsite to deliver direct services and engage in team meetings throughout the school year
