This full-time opportunity, located in Arizona and welcoming travel professionals, spans the school year from early August to late May (dates subject to change). Requirements for this role include:
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card (Arizona)
- Active Arizona Educator Certification (School Psychologist)
- Demonstrated experience in educational psychological assessments and interventions
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and state/federal guidelines
- Ability to serve diverse student populations with empathy and professionalism
- Effective communication and consultation skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to caseload assignments as determined
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct individual cognitive, behavioral, academic, and social-emotional assessments
- Interpret evaluation data and generate comprehensive reports
- Participate as an integral member in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and eligibility meetings
- Develop targeted intervention strategies and consult with staff to support students developmental needs
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as appropriate within the school setting
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential student records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Serve as a trusted resource for students, families, and staff throughout the academic year
