Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans in educational environments
- Strong background in Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) procedures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
- Knowledge of IDEA and special education laws is preferred
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to improving outcomes for students with behavioral challenges
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students behavioral needs
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans and monitor progress
- Work directly with students to implement behavioral strategies and modify interventions as needed
- Train and coach school staff on behavior management techniques and data collection
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation for student progress and recommendations
- Serve as a resource to families, helping support consistency between home and school interventions
