Sunbelt Staffing is seeking THREE full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support a district with the 2026-2027 school year.

Multiple openings

Caseload

One current opening involves supporting a 5th-grade student who demonstrates:

Elopement, school avoidance behaviors, refusal to return to class, oppositional behaviors, difficulty with emotional regulation, and task engagement

Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans and collect behavioral data
Utilize de-escalation techniques and proactive behavior supports
Build rapport and maintain a positive, structured relationship with students
Support students in accessing instruction and remaining engaged throughout the school day
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff

Qualifications
Active RBT Certification required
Previous experience supporting students with moderate behavioral needs required
Experience with de-escalation, emotional regulation, and behavior intervention strategies preferred
Strong communication, patience, and relationship-building skills

The district is seeking an RBT who can remain calm during challenging situations, establish trust with students, maintain consistent expectations, and effectively support students with behavioral and emotional needs.
